Registration Guidelines:
Phase One: August 09, 2010 – October 09, 2010
This phase provides an exclusive 2-month window for only the top 30 debating institutions to register and confirm their participation at WUPID 2010. To view the list, click here.
There is a zero-registration fee policy for participants from the top 30 debating institutions – 2 teams (4 debaters) and 1 adjudicator. If the institution wishes to send more participants, please wait for registration phase 2. Accommodation throughout the championship, meals and social passes are included.

Complete the form and submit the form via email (wupid@hngsc.com). To find out the status of your registration, please visit the invited institutions page here or please wait until you receive an email verifying your participation within 48 hours of your registration.
Please print and bring along a copy of the verification document during the registration on December 18, 2010 which shall take place at the official hotel and / or the residential college of the host university.
Institutions not within the top 30 ranks may also register during this phase. Your participation will however be published on the waiting list until registration phase two opens.
Phase Two: October 11, 2010 – December 04, 2010
This phase would only be activated if the team cap is not full and once the protected period (Phase One) is over.
This is the registration phase for (1) institutions within the top 30 who decides to send extra teams and adjudicators [an additional maximum of two teams and one adjudicator], (2) institutions outside the top 30 and (3) Observers (Details regarding the Observer Programme can be found here).

Institutions outside the top 30 MUST include a debating profile / resume of the debate club / society / union and a cover letter as an attachment before emailing it to us. Copies of your registration details and attachments shall be sent to the Advisory Panel for their perusal and recommendation. Each team and each adjudicator shall be charged USD100 (Important: The registration fee for institutions outside of Asia Pacific is waived). The registration fee is inclusive of meals and social passes.
Accommodation would have to be borne by the respective participants. Special room rates at the official hotel is available if room booking is done through us. You may also opt to stay at the host university’s residential college for free.
